Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Developer

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Design, configure and deliver end-to-end solutions using standard Salesforce and FSC capabilities first, including lending data and processes, platform configuration, coexistence with legacy custom records and phased migration.
• Build and support reusable OmniStudio and Experience Cloud experiences using OmniScripts, FlexCards, data-guided workflows, secure external-user access and portal troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain document-generation and lifecycle solutions using OmniStudio Document Generation and templates, data mappings, assembly, storage, versioning, access, retention, audit trails and production support.
• Engineer readable, modular, bulk-safe and supportable Apex, LWC, Aura, Flow, triggers, REST services, queueables, batches, schedulables and metadata-driven automation.
• Manage order of execution, recursion, governor limits, asynchronous processing, record locking, fault handling and production reliability.
• Integrate with third parties using REST, webhooks, callouts, Named Credentials, OAuth/JWT, retries, idempotency, structured errors, logging, alerting, reconciliation and documented API contracts.
• Enforce object-, field- and record-level security across Apex, LWC, Flow, OmniStudio, APIs and Experience Cloud using appropriate sharing, CRUD/FLS controls, permission sets, encryption, masking, consent, retention, audit and secure logging.
• Create meaningful automated tests and regression coverage using isolated, realistic data.
• Reproduce defects and address root causes while validating business outcomes, security, integrations, asynchronous work, documents, portals and governor limits.
• Deliver through Jira-linked Git workflows, pull requests, Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, package manifests, Salesforce Git Delta and GitHub Actions across Validation, DevBuild, QA, Stage, Production and hotfix environments.
• Keep approved org changes synchronized with source and prepare deployment, rollback and post-release evidence.
• Investigate and resolve Flow, Apex, callout, asynchronous, portal, document, data, locking and governor-limit failures.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, maintain monitoring and support runbooks, and provide operational ownership during releases, sandbox refreshes and data migrations.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Solution Architects, Product Managers, Project Managers, business analysts, QA, administrators, data and integration teams, stakeholders and vendors.
• Refine and estimate work, surface risks and blockers, participate in reviews and demos, maintain implementation and support documentation, and share knowledge.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience delivering production applications.
• 2+ years of practical Financial Services Cloud implementation or development experience.
• Hands-on experience with OmniStudio, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, Data Mappers/DataRaptors and Integration Procedures.
• Hands-on document-generation experience, preferably including OmniStudio Document Generation and one or more of Conga, Salesforce Files, Box or comparable platforms.
• Strong Apex, SOQL/SOSL, triggers, asynchronous Apex, REST APIs, LWC, JavaScript, Flow and Salesforce data-model skills.
• Experience implementing FSC or lending data involving applications, applicants, parties, relationships, financial accounts, assets, liabilities, income, collateral, documents or servicing.
• Experience building and troubleshooting API integrations, callouts, webhooks, Named Credentials, authentication, request/response mapping and structured error handling.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing, permission sets, permission-set groups, CRUD/FLS enforcement, Experience Cloud access and data protection.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, Salesforce CLI, source-driven development, CI/CD, metadata deployments and sandbox or environment management.
• Demonstrated ability to bulkify code, manage order of execution, control recursion, use asynchronous patterns and diagnose governor-limit failures.
• Ability to write meaningful automated tests and use mocks or test-data factories appropriately.
• Understanding of loan origination and fulfillment workflows, including sales, underwriting, closing, post-closing, servicing and asset-management users.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, ownership and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification; Platform Developer II is preferred.
• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional or relevant FSC certification.
• Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer or OmniStudio Consultant certification.
• Salesforce JavaScript Developer I, Experience Cloud Consultant or Platform App Builder certification.
• Experience with private credit, residential investment lending, DSCR, bridge, fix-and-flip, construction, single-asset bridge, build-for-rent, warehouse lines or loan servicing.
• Experience with Salesforce Industries Business Rules Engine, Calculation Procedures, Decision Tables and document-generation tooling.
• Experience with Conga, Box, MuleSoft, GitHub Actions, Salesforce Git Delta, Salesforce Code Analyzer, PMD, SonarQube or similar platforms.
• Experience maintaining a large, heavily automated Salesforce org while incrementally adopting FSC standard objects and capabilities.
• Experience supporting Experience Cloud portals and external-user APIs in a regulated environment.

Work Conditions

• Remote position within India.
• Contract duration of 3–6 months initially.
• Mid-shift working hours.
• Required overlap with the team until approximately 2:00 or 3:00 PM EST.
• Payroll remains with the candidate.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
